Most of the water absorbed by crops is evaporated into the air through evapotranspiration. The biggest factor affecting crop evapotranspiration is sunlight intensity. Since temperature also has a large positive correlation with sunshine, although only the light accumulation value is used, the reliability of the estimation of evapotranspiration is quite high. We applied this low-cost technology to develop a light cumulative value automatic irrigation machine to obtain relatively accurate automatic irrigation effects.
