The Vermeer® T855 Commander® 3 hydrostatic trencher is your rugged rock-trenching solution. Designed specifically for 6` to 12` (1.8 m to 3.7 m) rock-trenching jobs, the T855 Commander 3 is a great choice for utility, water, and sewer contractors.

At the heart of the T855 Commander 3 is a powerful 350 hp (261 kW) ATAAC Caterpillar C9 ACERT Tier 3 electronic engine that has the power to handle tough trenching jobs. The exclusive Vermeer Auto-tilt Track matches the machine to terrain conditions to help keep your operation running smoothly.

A Rotary Power radial piston hydraulic motor and splined headshaft produce lower speeds and higher torque — providing superior rock penetration and low chain and tooth wear for better production results.

Nonfolding 8` (2.4 m) or folding 13` (4 m) conveyors offer users maximum flexibility in choosing where the spoil is deposited. The 13` (4 m) length gives users the ability to fold the conveyor for easy clearance and storage.

TEC 2000.2® control system monitors operating conditions, measures full-range ground speed and headshaft speed, and informs the operator of real-time machine performance for increased productivity and reduced wear to the machine.

The innovative Terrain Leveler® Surface Excavation Machine offers unmatched production in a variety of applications, including surface mining, site preparatio n, over-burden removal, road construction/reconstruction, and soil remediation. The T855 Terrain Leveler SEM can cut an area up to 8.5 feet (2.6 m) wide and up to 32 inches (81.2 cm) deep in a single pass.
