When it comes to removing stumps, look to a stump cutter that is a cut above the rest - the Vermeer® SC802. Powered by a 77 hp (57.4 kW) Deutz turbo-charged oilcooled diesel engine, the SC802 can cut tough stump-cutting jobs down to size.

At a compact size of 79" (200.7 cm) wide and 3960 lb (1796.2 kg), the SC802 can be easily transported with a tow vehicle. A 103" (261.6 cm) sweep arc and 60" (152.4 cm) tongue extension help reduce the need to frequently reposition the unit.

The SC802 comes with the exclusive AutoSweep® system, a patented gear-drive cutter system, and an optional wireless remote control feature - all which help increase productivity. Other key features include an independent rubbertorsion suspension for towing and a raised rear deck under the boom for increased chip capacity.

A 60" (152.4 cm) tongue extension helps reduce the amount of repositioning needed on a jobsite.

An optional wireless remote control allows operators to maneuver the stump cutter from distances up to 100` (30.5 m) away from the machine. The joystick and neck strap increase operator control and comfort.

The sweep arc measures 103" (261.6 cm). The below-ground cutting depth of 25" (63.5 cm) allows operators to cut even the largest stumps efficiently. The rear deck design allows for chip containment capacity of approximately 68 cu ft (1.9 cu/m).

The patented AutoSweep® system monitors engine speed and automatically adjusts cutter-wheel sweep rate to maximize power to the cutter wheel while reducing engine stress. The SC802 features an AutoSweep system that includes a digital processor controller and hydraulic control valve.

The patent-pending Yellow JacketTM cutter system features a universal tooth that can accommodate all cutting positions on the cutter wheel. Plus, it offers easy serviceability and extended tooth and pocket life.
