Installing a Poly Cutting Edge on a SnowWolf Plow + UHMW Snow Pusher Skid Shoes and UHMW Bushings - Video
00:00 - We outfitted Michael Murphy Construction's SnowWolf box plow with May Wes poly. In this video, we install a May Wes UHMW poly cutting edge, custom UHMW Snow Pusher Skid Shoes, UHMW bushings and custom UHMW spacers.
00:38 - How to Measure and Install a UHMW Cutting Edge on a Snowplow - Eric explains how to measure your snow plow cutting edge holes if you would like May Wes to drill your holes for you. He explains how the cutting edge is installed and can be flipped over once one side is worn out.
05:01 - Installing UHMW Bushings on the box plow - Our plastic fabrication shop made custom UHMW bushings or spacers to replace the worn rubber bushings on the SnowWolf box plow. Eric explains how to install the bushings. The UHMW bushings fill the space between the plow and the box to keep everything tight and independent.
07:15 - Installing Custom Snow Pusher Skid Shoes - Michael Murphy Construction asked us to make them some larger custom UHMW skid shoes for their snow pusher. We cut large slots in them to make them easy to adjust to match the poly cutting edge.
08:35 - Custom UHMW Plow Spacers - We made some custom spacers to fill the void between the blade and the box to prevent the plow from leaving trails of snow behind while plowing.
