The extruder is essential for the production of pet food. The KAHL extruder OEE 25 NG produces different types of pet food of the highest quality. Our plants for the production of pet food consist of a wide range of machines, all designed and produced by KAHL. We not only provide the conditioning of the product to be extruded, but also supply the appropriate machines for subsequent drying, cooling, screening and coating. The extruder OEE 25 NG (New Generation) is the heart of our pet food plants.

The use of our extruder OEE 25 NG for the production of fish and shrimp feed not only facilitates precise shaping and setting of the extrudate density, but also enables die changes within 10 minutes. Our KAHL fish feed plants are equipped with the latest process technology, the core of which is the extrusion system with the extruder OEE 25 NG and the process control system ESEP.

When processing wheat, spelt or other types of grain, various product components are produced, e.g. in a typical flour mill mainly wheat flour, which is used for the production of bakery products. However, bran, i.e. the husk of the wheat grain, which has a higher or lower starch content, is also produced as a by-product.

Our hydrothermal reactors from KAHL offer gentle and uniform product treatment due to separately adjustable temperature, moisture, retention time, mechanical treatment and pressure.

With our extruder OEE 25 NG (New Generation) we provide the extruder market with fresh impetus. The highest level of engineering and professional further development of our existing extruder make operation even easier than before.

The KAHL extruder OEE 8 offers the optimum solution for the production of food extrudates such as muesli flakes or snacks made of different cereals.

With our horizontal and fast-rotating agitator-blade mixers, mealy, granular, fibrous and/or flaky carrier substances can be mixed with liquids. Our continuous mixer allows simultaneous addition of several bulk product flows, liquids and steam. Using the whirling principle, you can produce a lump-free mixture. The throughput time and the type of whirl formation can be influenced by adjusting the agitator blades. Thus the mixing effect can be adapted to the product. In addition, we manufacture the continuous mixer in four different sizes with a motor power from 7.5 to 110 kW, which provides a high variability in throughput time.
