There are several ways to support the Animal Ag Alliance’s mission to help bridge the communication gap between farm and fork. Your contribution will help protect the future of animal ag. Companies, associations and individuals looking to gain access to the Alliance’s vast collection of resources can become a member. Membership levels begin at $500. Returning members can renew here. Individuals looking to support our mission can make a personal donation. Organizations looking to receive recognition for supporting an Alliance program or project, can become a sponsor.

America’s farms and ranches are the front lines of our food supply. Keeping these facilities safe and secure is essential to animal health and well-being, in addition to ensuring the safety of our milk, meat, poultry and eggs and protecting the reputation of our industry. The Animal Agriculture Alliance’s farm security resources are intended to help farmers protect themselves and their livestock and poultry from threats to the security of their property. With animal rights activism on the rise, it is increasingly important for farmers and ranchers to keep security top-of-mind.

Protests, demonstrations and incidents of activists breaking into farms are on the rise. The use of “undercover” videos is still a significant tactic. Animal rights activists continue to mislead consumers who have never been to a farm about how livestock and poultry are raised. We identify emerging threats and provide insightful resources on animal rights and other activist groups by attending their events, monitoring traditional and social media and engaging our national network.

The Alliance engages food chain influencers and promotes consumer choice by helping them better understand modern animal agriculture. We provide key audiences (including restaurant, retail and foodservice brands, media outlets, dietitians and bloggers) with information about animal agriculture including farmers and ranchers’ commitment to excellence and continuous improvements in critical areas like animal welfare and sustainability.

College Aggies Online (CAO) is an initiative of the Alliance that connects college students from across the country who are interested in promoting agriculture. Participants receive training from industry experts and engage on social media by posting information about current and emerging issues facing farmers and ranchers and telling personal stories. CAO was created to develop life-long advocates for agriculture! Students can sign up for next year’s competition which starts September 2020.
