Horstine AirStream uses hydraulically driven metering and a high capacity fan to distribute solid fertiliser. Outlets can be specified to broadcast, band apply or place fertiliser on, or in combination with a wide range of implements. AirStream can precisely apply cheaper grades of solid fertiliser, maximising yield potential and keeping establishment costs in check.
Horstine Agroband can be used for fertiliser placement or for bed top application of fertiliser during potato crop establishment. Fertiliser is delivered from the 800L translucent hopper to the outlets using gravity rather than a pneumatic fan, reducing cost and keeping the applicator simple. Agroband can precisely apply cheaper grades of solid fertiliser, maximising yield potential and keeping establishment costs in check.
The unique positive displacement metering system used in Microband granular applicators allow granules of different sizes and densities to be precisely and economically applied over a wide range of application rates. The universal system has been adapted to apply granular products on most types of planter, seeder and cultivator on crops ranging from potatoes to sugar beet.
TMAir uses an electrically driven pneumatic fan to apply granules and small seeds, such as nematicides, Avadex and oilseed rape on a wide variety of implements. Horstine’s precision metering uses an individual rotor for each outlet, guaranteeing even and accurate application across the full machine width.
ProSeed is specified with twin electrically driven pneumatic fans and Horstine’s positive displacement metering system, to precisely apply oilseed rape on a wide variety of subsoilers and cultivators. Horstine’s precision metering system uses an individual rotor for each distribution outlet, guaranteeing even and accurate application from every outlet.
Horstine Twin Air applies oilseed rape and slug pellets simultaneously without the need for premixing the products. The unique metering system allows the operator to precisely control product application tailored to individual soil conditions, crop variety and slug populations. Twin Air can also apply micro-granular fertilisers in place of one of the above products. Another common use for Twin Air is the application of Avadex on rolls up to 12m...
