HorstineModel TMA4 -Granular Chemical Precision Applicators

Horstine TMA4 offers growers a precision applicator for Avadex, slug pellets and other granular chemicals at widths of up to 12m. Utilising Horstine’s individual metering system, each broadcast outlet is fed by its own metering rotor guaranteeing consistent application from each outlet. The metering system is controlled by a Horstine Wizard automatic rate controller, ensuring application rates are always correct regardless of forward speed. A 12 meter manually folding boom comes as standard and can be upgraded to a hydraulic folding system if required.

Individual Metering
Horstine`s precision metering system provides extremely accurate application, with each product outlet being fed by its own individual rotor. This system of metering guarantees application accuracy across the full width of the implement.

Easy Setup & Calibration
Calibration of the AirStream is quick and simple. Remove the calibration cover, press the prime button until a quantity of fertiliser is collected in the tray (provided). Weigh the fertiliser an input this figure into the rate  controller and calibration is complete.

Auto Rate Contro
The Horstine Wizard application controller comes fitted as standard and is used to  compensate for changes in forward speed. Wizard also allows he application rate to be changed quickly, adjusting  fertiliser rates to suit soil conditions (Variable Rate option available).

Pneumatic Delivery
AirStream uses a high capacity hydraulically driven fan to deliver fertiliser to the outlet, from low rates for inter row banding up to the high application rates required during placement on modern belt driven potato planters.
