Dairy farms are rapidly growing in size. Do you milk 100 cows or more? Then you are no doubt aware that tracing individual animals in the herd can be very time-consuming. That `s why Nedap has developed a  unique tool: Nedap Cow Positioning. At a glance you can see exactly where individual animals are in the barn   ` on the screen of your PC, tablet or smartphone.

Nedap technology is based on electronic individual animal identification (RFID). This system ensures that no animal remains anonymous and that the health condition and performances of each individual animal can be immediately tracked and managed through the Nedap platform for the pig farming sector. A history record is built up for each individual animal, relating to performances and treatments. If required, this data can be shared with other partners within the chain.

Heat detection: the recognition and marking of sows based on heat There is the option to expand the Electronic Sow Feeding with the Nedap Sow Heat Detection. This is a separate station that automatically recognises, marks and separates sows based on heat. It works faster and more accurately than traditional heat detection, while also contributing to the farmer`s safety.
