Citrus leaves accumulated during harvesting have to be removed in order to work citrus properly. The leaf removing grid collects only the leaves fallen from the fruit without affecting those still attached.

Our manual presorting tables are versatile and built to your needs. The heart of the machine is the motorised roller, which, as it moves the fruit forward, rotates it 360°, thereby ensuring that the entire surface area can be examined. The entire length of the table is fitted with specific LED lights and, if wanting to examine internal damages, we recommend using dark rooms with ultraviolet light. We can install a suction system, particularly for garlic and onions, which removes the stripped organic matter. In addition, for apples and pears, we have more delicate models built entirely from stainless steel.

Small fruits meant for the processing industry can be easily selected by variable or fixed size mechanical presorting to increase the productivity of the optical sorter and / or to reduce the number of operators employed in the manual presorting table.

Mushrooms and moulds are among the worst enemies of fresh produce, especially for those varieties that are more delicate or more prone to being affected. Our fungicide systems can eliminate all fungi and moulds on produce skin through nebulisation, immersion or waterfalls of fungicide products. Each treatment respects food safety whilst maintaining the organoleptic properties of the fruit.

Apples and citrus fruits, but also other products, especially those meant for overseas markets, are often treated with edible wax. The protective layer it creates, semipermeable to gases, slows down the ripening, therefore increasing the shelf-life of the product, and decreases its normal weight loss. The fruits maintain the crunchy and juicy feature typical of the freshly picked fruit and have a better appearance thanks to the brilliance given by the wax.

The optical component is the most technological and modern part of a sorting machine. Thanks to the use of artificial intelligence, it is possible to select fruit and vegetables on the basis of their internal and external quality, colour, shape and diameter and it is possible to identify over 54 different defects.
