Spring - Insect Shield for Plant Pest Control
Composition: Insect shield is a mixture of specific herbal non-toxic extracts against e.g. plantlouse ( aphids), white fly, red spider mite, lily beetle, thrips. The product is perfectly safe for humans, animals and bees. Effects: The root of the plant, shrub or tree will absorb Insect Shield. By this absorption, taste as well as smell of the plant and soil will change (perceptibly only by these insects). This will stop them from eating and the pest inconvenience and damage will disappear. If there has been a lot of inconvenience and damage in the past, a preventive treatment is recommended. Insect Shield has a residual effect of four weeks, after which a next treatment might be necessary (depends on insects which are still present or which are to be expected).
Application: Insect Shield can be applied in a pleasure garden, vegetable garden and on terrace or balcony by means of pouring, soil treatment or spraying (see directions). The taste of eatable plants will not change and they can be consumed as usual.
Directions for use: Shake well before use. Start treatment at the time that the plant, shrub or tree starts to sprout.
Pour: First superficially scrape off dried soil. Dissolve 50 ml. Insect Shield in 2.5 liters of water ( will treat 25 m² ) . After application spray with plenty of water ( 10 mm . ).
Soil treatment: Dissolve 50 ml. Insect Shield in 2.5 liters of water and administerto the soil at the roots of the crop. Use a stem and make holes of about 15 cm. deep ( about 10 pieces per m² root surface ). Pour in approx. 250 ml. solution and close the holes.
Spray: Dissolve 10 ml. Insect Shield in 0.5 liters of water. Spray the up- and downside of the plant leaves dripping wet . For optimal effect of this liquid applications, dry conditions are required, enabling maximum leaf absorption. Apply when cloudy and with overcast. Do not spray above 25 ºC.
