John Shearer - Pasture Renovation Drill
The new Pasture Renovation Drill from John Shearer is packed with design features to improve the productivity of your farm. Growing a better crop has never been easier! This drill is available in sowing widths from 2.03m (6‘ 7”) to 3.34m (10’11”) with seeding spacings of either 127mm (5”) or 152mm (6”). Spring release ‘580’ tyne assemblies, single discs and coil tynes are available from our proven range of ground engaging tools. Sowing distributors are powered by our innovative, new electric drive system as standard. Our classic variable speed gearbox is also available as an option.

Electric Drive
In-cab wireless seed and fertilizer rate control. Simple calibration which can be done in the field or static. Our time-tested infinitely adjustable manual gearbox is also still available as an option.
Easy Calibration
Calibration of sowing rates is made easy with our app guiding you through the process and removing the need to manually turn shafts. An electronic scale is included for convenience.
Heavy Duty Construction
In the Shearer tradition the whole machine is built to last with particular attention paid to the frame and axles. The main core features a 4 row frame of 100x100x5mm RHS beams.

Choose from our proven range of ground engaging tools and build a machine tailored to your conditions. Shearer spring release ‘580’ tyne assemblies, coil tynes and single discs are all available for fitment.
