Bailey - Root Specials Trailer

When harvesting root crops it’s important to avoid unnecessary damage when loading, this is why our Root trailers are longer and lower than standard grain trailers. All models feature an arched window for improved visibility when loading. Tipping is controlled by long reach chromed cylinders capable of achieving approximately 50° of tip.

Root trailers are tough operators – an 8 or 10 mm RHS chassis provides the core strength. This clean design eliminates material spillage on road or yard. The hydraulic braking system works in tandem with your tractor, which is vital when braking suddenly.

To compensate for wear and tear when loading heavy materials, all fixed body models feature heavy-gauge sides, strengthening channels and heavy-gauge floors with hollow section runners at 300 mm centres. Rugged side ladders aid stability for operators when working above the trailer height.

On road or off road the ride is assured. Heavy-duty commercial axles on tandem springs and a sprung drawbar featuring a leaf spring ensures the ride is smooth on all terrains, whether partially or fully loaded. Mudguards fitted as standard to protect the trailer against debris and surface spray.
