Pro-Tech was started in 1975, by Jim Sutton introducing the Curtain-Minder to the poultry industry. That product was revolutionary, unlike any other product out at the time. The economic impact of this device that protects poultry increased in value and significance not long after it was created.

The Curtain-Minder was designed to release curtains on the sidewalls of chicken houses allowing natural ventilation and safety within temperatures. Forty-five years later the Curtain-Minder remains essential to the poultry business.

In August of 2018 Pro-Tech was acquired by Kenneth Teeters, David Franco, and Beverly Frye. With the objective of transforming Pro-Tech into a dynamic and customer service oriented company, modernized to the 21st-century poultry industry needs.

The company has grown and expanded to its present status. The product line has expanded to Curtain-Minders, Alarms, accessories, and services.

Today, Pro-Tech has a small product line but the name stands firm in the poultry industry. We continue selling in the US and Internationally. We are very grateful for the many years of continued business of our loyal customers.
