Vento - Climate Computer for Livestock Production
Vento is a climate computer developed by Big Dutchman that is easy to understand and very user-friendly. The computer is also incredibly simple to install and to put into operation. Fresh air and exhaust air, heating and cooling are controlled reliably. Vento is ideally suited for houses for livestock production, especially where these are located in hot-climate areas. The well-arranged 7-inch touchscreen shows relevant curves as graphs. Functions that are used on a daily basis are immediately available in the menu, making the computer very easy to handle.
NH3 Poultry Climate Control Sensor
The first NH3 sensor for continuous measuring of the ammonia concentration in the house air. DOL 53 is an electrochemical, long-term stable NH3 sensor developed by the company Dräger. The sensor is very robust and well-suited for use in livestock facilities. The Big Dutchman group is the first and only equipment supplier offering this sensor. DOL 53 permanently monitors the ammonia concentration in the house air, thus permitting the house climate to be controlled based on the sensor’s measurements. Our climate computers ViperTouch and 307pro can receive and process the data provided by the sensor to regulate the house climate according to the measured values. Additionally, the AC Touch alarm unit can record the data and use BigFarmNet to analyse them.
CombiTunnel - Ventilation for Climate Control
The intelligent climate control option for your poultry house. The CombiTunnel ventilation recommended by Big Dutchman is a combination of two ventilation systems in one house.
Earny - Poultry Heat Exchanger
The Earny heat exchanger developed by Big Dutchman is used to recover heat from the exhaust air of broiler houses. Depending on the location and the respective conditions on site, it is possible to save between 35 and 60 percent of heating costs! Apart from the energy savings and an improved house climate, there is an additional aspect whose importance is steadily increasing: the reduction of emissions such as dust, odour and ammonia.
RainMaker - Pad Cooling System
The ideal cooling system for poultry houses in regions with hot and dry summers. RainMaker is a pad cooling system, developed by Big Dutchman, which features an innovative frame system. RainMaker is characterised by its minimum installation requirements and is designed for simple supervision and maintenance. The cooling system works on the basis of evaporation and is therefore mainly used in climate regions with hot and dry summers. The higher the temperatures and the lower the relative humidity, the higher the resulting cooling effect.
