Agribusiness Congress East Africa is back
Agribusiness Congress East Africa, the two-day interactive forum and exhibition that brings together key public & private stakeholders from across the East African agricultural sector, is back for its third year. Due to its growth and expansion to include even more industry sectors, the event is set to take place at Mlimani City Conference Centre in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania from 27-28 January 2016.
We look forward to once again partnering with the Agricultural Council Tanzania (ACT) and enjoying support from The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Cooperatives as well as the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries Development. There is no doubt that the East African agricultural sector faces pertinent issues. The 2016 conference programme has taken this into consideration and includes panel discussions and presentations such as access to markets and cross border trading, the promotion of livestock production and productivity to match supply and demand and ensuring food security and commercial market viability.
We are excited to have Juliet Kariuki, the Executive Director of the Tanzanian Investment Centre discussing the role of public and private partnerships – an important topic faced by the current market. Other key speakers include: Mark Blackett, the Regional Representative of Veco East Africa, Leonard Msemakweli, General Secretary from the Ugandan Co-operative Alliance, Johann Kotzé the Head of Agiculture Africa from First National Bank and many more.
