Amylo - Model X - Microbiological Fungicide / Bactericide
From Defense - Agropharmaceuticals
Fungicide and microbiological bactericide based on Bacillus amyloliquefaciens , strain D747. It is a microbiological fungicide / bactericide based on the bacterium Bacillus amyloliquefaciens subspecies plantarum (strain D747) with a broad spectrum of action; in fact it acts against various fungal adversities such as Botrytis ( Botrytis cinerea ) and acid rot of the vine, Monilia ( Monilinia spp.) of Drupaceae, Oidium on various horticultural crops, Sclerotinia ( Sclerotinia spp.) of lettuces and salads, in addition to various bacterioses including the Pome fruit blast ( Erwinia amylovora ), the bacterial cancer of actinidia ( Pseudomonas syringae pv actinidia e, PSA) and on Drupacee against Xanthomonas arboricola pvthorns .
Product Details
Amylo-X is a formulation in water dispersible granules (WG) and has been registered in Italy since 2012; recently the label has been expanded, which now includes new crops and important adversities. D747 is a strain of B. amyloliquefaciens specially selected for its antimicrobial action and its ability to contrast against various plant pathogens. Amylo-X contains the spores of B. amylolique faciensstrain D747 which, once mixed in water, begin the germinative processes which end on the surface of the crop to be protected. Vegetative cells are thus produced which start a competition with pathogens for nutritional sources and living space; lipopeptides are also produced that are able to inhibit the growth and development of pathogens. The D747 strain of B. amyloliquefaciens is finally able to activate resistance induction mechanisms in the plant being treated. Amylo-X is a broad spectrum fungicide and bactericide that can be used alone or in strategy with conventional fungicides (including cupric products). Amylo-X has a preventive action against pathogens and should not be considered a curative product. It can play a fundamental role in reducing the development of populations resistant to synthetic fungicides; in fact, thanks to the complex mode of action (typical of microbiological formulations) it presents a reduced risk of resistance. The fungicide does not leave residues on the food and does not interfere with the fermentation processes of grapes.
WARNINGS:
Amylo-X can be mixed with numerous fungicides (except fluazinam and thiofanate-methyl) and with synthetic insecticides and acaricides.
