The primary goal of ProFish Technology is to preserve threatened fish species by limiting the impact of human activities on the migration of fish. The aim of ProFish Technology is to develop technical solutions to reduce the impact of human activities on fish populations, in compliance with relevant regulations and in the interests of preserving biodiversity. ProFish Technology is a spin off of the University of Liège (Belgium), where basic research on fish behavioural biology has become a speciality.

Aquatic life is continuously exposed to man-made threats, potentially exposing some species to the threat of extinction. Our Consultancy Service offers support for industrial projects and environmental restoration projects. We have developed an expertise in biological monitoring of fish populations, in terms of both demographics and behaviour.
